The collective is a nurturing space for developing contemporary dance artists where they can explore relevant and forward progressing ideas. The mandate of DDC is to foster artists while grouping a world-class touring company performing original contemporary choreography.

Biography of Jennifer Foley
Jennifer Foley received her formal Ballet training at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto. Upon Graduation, she danced with The National Ballet of Canada, Alberta Ballet, Ottawa Ballet and Kittiwake Dance Theatre.
Jennifer has taught at Mount Royal College School of Dance (Calgary) and later at The School of Dance (Ottawa) where she completed the Cecchetti Associate Exam.
In St. John’s Newfoundland, Jennifer established Dance Studio East with Martin Vallée, and became Co-Artistic Director of Kittiwake Dance Theatre, Newfoundland’s only recognized professional Dance Company.
